Well you just can't hide the utter jubilence and excitement on that face! WOOOHOOO is what this expression says to me. You could've left the DNMC out of the title and called it "Pet Holiday Party Hats" and nobody would've been the wiser. Merry Christmas to you and him (her?) also. Or should I say "Meowy Christmas"?
Awwwww. . . . is that Bandit???? He is looking as cute as ever, and is SUCH a good sport. . . deserving of a 10 just for the dignified way he handles his party hat :) I LOVE IT! 10 . . .and yes it DOES meet the challenge.
Maybe not Christmas, but definitely fits for New Year's (presumably included in the "holiday" part?) Nice sharp cat picture. Some distracting background elements but otherwise technically sound.
This cat really looks like he is trying to maintain his dignity while wearing what looks like a birthday party hat. I'm sure you were aware going in that you weren't go to win any ribbons with this effort. It's an amusing portrait of a cat but there is no relationship to the challenge. If it were wearing a Santa hat or reindeer ears or some other Christmas-y get-up it would be more appropriate to the challenge since I can certainly find that type of thing in a catalog.
