 Again, I’m pretty excited about this challenge. At the least, I should bring up my average. I used a little bit of advanced editing for the first time on this submission. I blurred the background to make the candles stand out some. It also helps having a bunch of our holiday candles in the basement. Good Luck to me!

Nice, but a shallower depth of field would have been better, the background is too busy.

The subject of candles is good, however I don't think I would try to show the entire line of candles in one shot. I like the DOF you chose. Try turning the table to a slightly different angle to try to minimize the window in the background and pick up more of the stocking on the fireplace.

this seems a bit snapshotish for me. Maybe too much going on, on the table and there's a lot in the background as well.
