another one I liked. I gave this a 7. Composition is nice with off centered image and good, but not too much, negative space. I like the star effect and don't think it dominates too much. There are a few pixels of white which could easily be removed with a mild run through "despeckle" in PS. Perhaps just a tad overexposed with the flames, but this was a demanding challenge and there were many which were worse.
I see the problem it lacks cowbell! No really every thing is on for this shot But it just three candles burning, 5.7 isn't that bad.. it just didn't have the pop to have enough to keep intrest...
Very very nice. I would actually like the flames less bright but not sure if it is possible. Too bad the rules wouldn't let you clone out that small green light reflection on the left candle. I love the sparkle and the colors. Great job and good luck
three beautiful candles which light mutually but the remainder is in the shade the effect which gives the rays of lights (thank you for the lens) emerges a little this black, limiting for clearness.
6 - Met the Challenge quite well in my opinion - "Use candlelight to create the impact of your photo.". Criticism; nice and simple, colors are nice, especially the green, which is more subtle, including the shape and resulting reflections etc. The 'effect' is nice, but again, although I can decipher what appears to be a full spectrum, just seems a bit harsh, not sure. Although shots like this usually have a lot of softening/blur - if this had at least the edges, especially bottom left 'softer' would likely have given this an overall better 'feel' and made it better in my opinion.
