I tried taking fireworks on the fourth and didn't get as good a shot as this one. I understand the difficulty.

The smoke trail down the left side leads your eye down the frame away from your subject.

Bright too! Ususlly the timing is late and the flash of the "bang" is subsided. I keep looking at the smoke. 4

Well, you are skirting the edge of meeting the challenge, but I won't quibble over your interpretation. Fireworks are hard to photograph. In this image, the center is very much overexposed and the rest underexposed. There was a good discussion on photography of fireworks in the forums the other day. I do like the line of smoke pointing upwards, that's a nice inclusion.

Good capture, but it is a touch too centered, I think.
