few things. You've got a center composition, which isn't always bad, but here it doesn't really work for the subject. I guess you couldn't find something much more interesting at that hour in the morning. I commend you for just waking!
It seems a lot of people set thier alarms for 4:50, woke up, rolled over, got out of bed and took a photo of the first thing they saw. This looks like you not only couldn't get out of bed, but didn't even roll over. Kinda funny actually.
not fond of the execution. nothing about the image really screams early, early in the am to me. maybe if you had pushed the post-processing a bit, you might have had a more interesting/engaging entry.
It appears that the extent of your effort in taking a shot for this challenge was rolling on to your side grabbing the camera, then rolling back onto your back. It does not tend towardsvery iinteresting viewing.
