I like the red glow on the face but the candle appears to be a little out of focus, that could be just because of the exposure but not sure. Good luck.

Traditional photograph which often gives good results, here framing is too broad, there is too much space between the objects and character.

I think a little more light on the left eye would open up a world of possibilities here. My eye is continually drawn away from the flame to the spot where his eye SHOULD be.
