This was a fun shot to take. I spent about an hour fixing my settings and getting everything just right. I love a challenge and this was definitly an enjoyable one.
Editing:
Fixed a few spots that were scuffed up on the backdrop.
Sharpened, resized and sharpened again.
Took some red out, it was overbaring.
Used the burn tool on the sides. Not to much though.

Haha how cute is that. The spot in the background is nice, but mabe a white color would have made it stand out more? Although it would have obstructed the white trim. Good job though
Great idea and exposure. Composition might be strengthened if the lights were more at a diagonal (the straight horizontal and vertical lines could be improved by less rigid composition imho).
Apart from the lightened part of the background in the middle this is super! I would have darkened the background to completely black. As it is, the lightened part in the middle will show through on a lot of monitors, especially TFT one like on this shitty laptop I am using at work :)
Excellent. I love the simplicity of this. Great detail and lighting. The string of twinkly lights is wonderful with the colors and the way you captured them. I wonder if the background were solid black if it wouldn't have been a bit less distracting. Hmmmm
