Nice shot. My boss lives in Lombard and he's building a deck on the back of his house. I'll have to show him this picture!

This just has such a great, fresh feel to it. Wonderful exposure for the snow and twinkling lights. This is how a good photographer can take a pretty basic scene and create a really lovely photo.

Nicely done. I really like the perspective of your picture. The lights give it a fantasia like feeling. One of my favorites of the challenge. Good luck.

The stars from the x-mas lights add a very nice look, not very much else going on. 6

Love the lines and spaces created on the table and chair with the fresh snowfall, as well as the sparkling lights. It seems a bit bright for a 4-5 am shot and right side seems a bit warped. Overall though, this is one of my favorites from the challenge. Well done!

I fond this oddly captivating. If my personal experience is relevant, it won't do especially well; I've entered deck-n-snow shots before and done poorly. But high marks from me :-)

Although this is generally a very peaceful and beautiful image, the star effect seems somewhat distracting and gimmicky, IMHO.
