Nice shot and finish, Kate. In looking thru your portfolio, there will be a ribbon in your near future. Nice work.

Magical with creative use of light to bring forth the effect. Congratulations on your top 10 finish.

Where's the Starship Enterprise!? Nice colors.

Nice idea, the lighting is good as well as the detail. Seems like it is just a little close for the viewer to easily see it's an egg, still one of the best I've seen so far. 9

This is beautiful. Love the color and seeing the cracks.

5 - One of the few who 'Met the Challenge' (my interpretation at least) fairly well, it was not easy. Criticism; too close seemingly (focus), not enough detail, oversaturated/harsh coloring. A variation in composition as well as attention to those other aspects, would likely have made this better in my opinion. Good concept, difficult to 'illustrate', especially for this Challenge.

here a very beautiful effect which leaves a little ordinary, there are very beautiful differences in colour in the red, and the cracks are development by this clearer red. I like

Nice! I like the color! Very intense. Nice tension iwth the cracks and the cropping. You get enough of the shape to know it's an egg...but it's still ambiguous. Nice.

Interesting. Don't know if it's a volcanic planet or an egg, but certainly graphic.

Whoa.. this sorta looks like the earths crust/mantle breaking apart in plate tectonics or something. Really interesting picture.

Now that is cool after being bored for the last ten shots. 9

It looks like planet or something from out of space, but it also looks likk your title. Great image and love the way you have captured the light inside the egg. Well done

Very nice - I wonder what this would look like with the crack on top (a more conventional view)
