to have this explained. someone asked in the forums on how would one capture rape - in regards to city life. i do hope that clears up the connection that i had in my mind. :)
The effect is beautiful, being able to capture the image and the subject, it makes a person feel warm and subtle looking through the reflections of an adult eye with an image of a kid..it reminds us that there's a little kid inside everyone of us and that it has groomed us for what we are today
Wow. That's pretty damn amazing. Your focus and amazing display of textures are incredible. I'm giving it an 8, only because I can't stretch enough to see the 'city life' in the shot...
I don't get your title or how this photo fits with this challenge, my bad, but I do love your photo! This is so very interesting and well done. This would have been perfect (and a leader for winner) in either the reflections or shadows challenge. Nice shot! Photo 10 City 6 total 8
The city aspect is a little week but this is a very powerful and well executed shot. Big, clear buildings rising up behind your silhouette would have made it a ten in my book.
Another stretch for the current category. I guess you're trying to say that some people can be paranoid living in the city. It's an awesome shot, but you may lose points for the stretch in fit.
One of the prettiest pictures of the week, truly superb... But not enough on the topic... I would have granted this a 9/10 one week ago in the "shadows" challenge, but only 7/10 for now...
Great shot. I don't, however, think it resonates with the theme of city life. I guess I have a hard time when titles are used to "fill in" for the theme... I still like the shot, though....nice imagery.
Ack! Spooky... I doubt my monitor is doing it the justice it deserves, but even so, it's... well... deep. I would have liked to see it with a lower crop. I'll be very interested to hear what setting you used to do this.
