Tiananmen Square from the west side. Tiananmen Gate is in the distance on the left; on the right is the Monument to the People's Heroes. The wall in the middle is the backside of an exhibit marking the 55th anniversary of the People's Revolution.

All the dots in the air are kites and strings of kites. The air itself is very polluted.
