Last minute decision to take and submit when I saw this little student sitting apart from everyone else. After taking the pic I had a long chat with him, his depression is real.... so sad. Only had Picassa to process.
Cropped, sharpened, B&W and warmify to duotone. Small softfocus adjustment.
I hope it is within the challenge rules, I have to enter this, for me, an adult who himself knows the dark side of depression.

Awww, so young and so sad? After reading the description I know why it looks so authentic - and you captured it great. I really do hope the boy is doing better though.
