I think this is amazing!!! The texture in the feathers looks so soft. Beautifully cropped. I would have given you a better comment during the challenge but there were so many to vote on. The colors are bright and look great. There does seem to be some noise. I was grasping for something to suggest and I had to look a long time to find that. It is just really hard for me to give suggestion to a photo as great as this one. So my critique is....AWESOME PHOTO! You kicked my butt.

The crop encompases the entire bird, yet there is still some mystery to it because there are parts missing. The colors are so rich. This is pure eye candy for me. Way to go!!! 9
8 - Very good. Criticism; just to contradict what I said in another shot, I think in this one, a slightly sharper focus on the feathers/body could have made this even better in my opinion, although, this is good as is, and gives a different view/perspective of the flamingo, concentrating on it's head/face etc more. Just be two different 'feel' shots, obviously, had the focus been on the feathers. Either way, even more detail/texture/etc (camera/lens dependent) would also make it even better in my opinion.
