For me, this would make a very interesting pattern background, but seems a bit of a stretch to have such a tight closeup. Perhaps if there were more of the garment showing or another object or two in the shot also, it would enhance your message.
I understand what you were going for, but for me you didn't wuite pull it off. Perhaps something else in the frame... Also there is a lot of noise in this shot. You also have the bright, blurry spot near the middle of the center fold.
Perfect example of minimalism. Nicely fits the challenge and works with the title. Sure, it is context dependant, but these are the rules - we know theme and can see the title while voting...9
