What a way to slaughter a gentle and loving animal !!! Who knows if this pig is even dead yet... and they're cutting it up already. Makes me want to scream !
It's hard to tell yet just where you stand on this but it's a good photojournalistic picture depicting a part of life that most people would rather not see. I particularly like the expression that you've captured in the man's face holding the knife on the left.
If you have a "heart" then this photo is evocative and emotive. If not, then it merely exhibits the technique of a cold and calculated death with good exposure and focus as there's no question how this animal died..a slow torturous boil to death followed by a skinning and butchering. Guess I"m of the former type and judging by your title, you are of the latter type.
An atmospheric environmental image which probably has the non farmers going Shame! The contrast is good and this image works very well in black and white. Well done
Nice capture. not sure I know exactly what's going on, but everyone looks pretty serious about it. I'm sure this won't do well because of all the meat eaters on here who hate to think about where their food comes from.
very photojournalistic. I like how they are working without showing you are there. gives the viewer a glimpse thru the window of another world as it were.
This picture is nicely done, crisp and clean. I don't think I really want to know what they are doing to the poor pig, but it must have to do with how we get the pork chops on the table. I don't like to think about that process...I just like the results. However, this definately meets challenge and it's well done. 9 Good luck in the challenge.
