That night in front of Pompidou Centre in Paris ... after the cinema on my way back home.
That security man was talking on the phone and didn't notice me at any minute.
I was attracted by his completely dark silhouette contrasting with the vivid colours of the hall around him.
A very relax security man, by the way ... ;)
Inside the centre, some people were hanging around before the cultural centre close.

These Free Study challenges are usually hard, because everbody votes relative to the other entries, instead of simply rating an entry on its own merit. And when some of the best photographers on this site have entered, that sometimes makes it tough on the other entries.
I think this shot deserved a much higher score. Nice colour and a very sharp silhouette. Well done.
Great candid shot. Nice use of ocontrast throughout: Light vs dark, movement vs stationary, exposed vs underexposed. The different elements in the photo make it very interesting..... 8
