Taken at about 7am on a very misty morning. A flock of ducks came in while I was shooting at the far end of the pond and took off again about 10 minutes later, but these two decided to hang out awhile longer and explore the pond. I wonder if they might return in the spring to nest here?
Used an ND filter for definition in the mist -
A fairly large crop, levels, neatimage, size for web, sharpen.
EDIT post Ribbon:
Oh My! I thought I might get a top ten, but not a ribbon!
Heh, I just ran through the house in my PJ's Whooooping.
Thank you everybody! I went from under five as an average vote a month ago, to a ribbon. This site has been amazing for learning.
Thank you all, especially those who have held my hand and were willing to answer questions and giveth from the fountains of experience wisdom!
Yay! Whoot!

One of the better pictures in this challenge. Too bad about the vignetting in the upper right... it's not bad in the LR, but it's distracting up top. Otherwise I have no criticisms and think this very good.
Very subtle and very beautiful. Looks like there's a little vignetting on the corners, very minor though. Good luck in the voting, this is one of my top picks!
