Actually, I was there to catch something interesting on Bosphorus but suddenly I realized these two birds (pigeons) was perching on the tree in front of the famous Blue Mosque/Istanbul silhouette.
Not such an imposing shot though...

I love the sillohuetted birds & trees against the toned back hillside. Very beautiful! You've got two little somethings on the left hand side, that could stand to be cropped out.
Two pigeons, another bird flying at the very left edge, a cargo ship, two ferry boats (I guess), some buildings... Crop out 90% of this and you would have a great photo.
Nice idea, and low contrast background almost works to isolate the pigeons. Could be improved by cropping out more of the dark plants in the foreground, making the pigeons more obvious.
