This looks more like a randomly snapped photo than one that was composed for a challenge. The hair, and earrings suggest a formal evening, but the bra strap and dark eyes suggest something quite different. Perhaps a few more tries to get better expressions on both faces could have improved this photo.

I like the shot I just don't think that the light source creates a dramatic effect

Picture needs far better lighting (bounce from white wall at least). Women's eyes are not lit, not properly directed, half closed and does not have catch lights in it. Baby's face is kind of irritated and unhappy - I would better accept crying face - this could be a message of "mother loves her anyway". Distracting antenna-like elements near woman's head. All that makes it a snapshot, not an artistic photo. I'm trying to be constructive - if you want to make a photo others could enjoy - learn, experiment, learn again and then boof - submit a PHOTO.

not so great a picture. good idea, but again im not liking the picture. the use of light isn;t very original.
