It took me a few shots to get the perfect angle and look. Had to use macro to acually get the picture right. I discover the color of the photo really distracting, so I get get rid of the color and Volia! Look closly for the odd-one-out quarter. I hope this does well.

First good idea, but I think the execution is lacking. Technically, the entire photo is just lacking in the detail necessary to really pull the photo off, you're dealing with very detailed objects. Compositionally, it may be a bit too difficult to find that Canadian piece near the top. Maybe placing the photo closer to the center (but not necessarily at) the center would help. Another idea to add variety is perhaps to add some more 'tails'. Play with it. :)
this sort of still life needs to be very, very sharp to work well, the idea is good, the lighting is good, the conversion to B&W seems an odd choice, but the focus is way too soft.
