I got the idea from a stock shoot i did... the setup up was my homemade lighttent (pvc + white bed sheet + desk lamps) a small zen rock garden i borrowed from a friend and some rocks i found on the beach two summers ago back home.

I set up the rocks (its hard, believe me!) then setup up my camera, i used the remote to the shot, then carefully took off two rocks from the top, took a shot with the remote and then did that one more time.

PP - crop, dodge/burn, duotones, usm, rearrange, add white border,

i like the subject, but it has a blueish tint to it i think that kinda distracts me, or maybe if the frame was black. and could still be simple

This image amuses me. I love the tones and think they are done extremely well. Image quality is excellent. Triptych works well. 9 - good luck in the challenge!

Very interesting. A thin ( 1 pixel) black border around the individual pictures would have set them off the background better.

The rakes make this look like a row boat. I wonder how it would look with one of them removed and a little crpped of the left or right.
