This is an unedited picture of my desk. Lots of stuff and my 100 Watt halogen lamp creating the nice dispersion of lite. Since halogen light is very close to the sun light, you get all the colors on a medium like a cd.

While this is a clever idea, the result is a little bland. Without a clear center of interest, this image becomes a sort of flat texture. It's an idea worth working with, though!
There are just too many subjects here, as your title says! - I find it difficult to settle on any one thing. Not too sure that the light really adds to the dramatic effect here.
