 Not a GREAT picture, but interesting effect. This is a reflection off a mirror. The "lightning" was produced by the reflection of the flash onto a sheet of aluminum foil tilted at an angle. The "explosion" on the neck is a halo effect from the flash highlighting dust on the mirror. The only post-prod was burning around the edges.
