This is the original hospital at Great Lakes Naval Base in Illinois. There has always been rumors of the building being haunted so I decided to create this image. I was actually shooting a full moon that night but it sure wasn't as good as this one. I pasted the moon in there then if you look closely you can see a figure of a nurse in the lit window on the second floor. Might be hard to see on this small image.
I printed this 8x10 and placed it in a historic display in its main entrance and got a lot of people going crazy thinking it was real (when I left there I ended up writing on the back that it was fake so no one got carried away with the myth). I actually even got an offer from a historian/ghost chaser that wanted to buy the image so he could prove it was all true...he was certain it was a true image, I finally let him off the hook and told him he couldn't buy it.
Very cool image and excellent mood! It is definitely spooky...love the red in the lower right corner contrasted againt the deep blue sky...and that "pasted" moon is perfection...nice job.
