this is very dark and muddy. you can't really tell what you're looking at unless you give it a good hard look. i'd like to see more contrast / hard light off the ball in order to bring some of it's curves to life. 4.
For some time, I couldn't tell what these were, so it may actually be too dark, but I still love this shot and the idea behind it. COmposition is great and the close crop indicates a wider world than is in your image.
