Well, back to the photo: nice take on the trail of lights. Nice composition, but the lights of the incoming traffic are too bright. Perhaps either a smaller aperture (if not stopped to the max already) or lower ISO (if not lowest already) or a ND filter would have helped this.
Please, do not re-shoot! (and do not take offense at the opening statement, but Darwin awards are full of stories like this one:)
Great idea! Can't wait to see the exposure time on this one - just enough to like the subject, but not too much to totally burn out the white lines (although it was getting close).
