My buddy George, a big gruff, 'Mike Ditka' kind of guy. Caught in an introspective moment. He is most at home with a big cigar and a pitcher of beer, watching football. He is going through some rough times currently though, and I snapped this during a personal and open talk we were having.
Very personal (almost intimate) shot - you can tell that immediately. I really like the focus & crop. You really captured a powerfully emotional moment. Not sure I'm a big fan of the overall tint of the image - seems a little "rosy" for the mood, but I that's a personal choice and you obviously know him much better than I. :-) Great shot.
