I took this in natural light by setting up the camera on a desk (on a stack of books), sitting on the chair in front of it and using the self-timer. It took a few tries to get my face framed properly, but it was an easy shot aside from that (my wedding really is coming up fast!).
Adjusted the brightness and the saturation of blue tones slightly before submitting.

Priceless expression and the one (stunningly blue) eye really work in seperating this photo apart from the other self portraits on here. Good luck on your wedding day by the way :)
Lighting is a bit too strong here and I'm not sure I like your expression either. I think dramatic lighting would have worked better here especially if you had brought attention to your hand covering your face and your eye instead of a wash of very bright light illuminating everything in the picture.
Wow is your eye blue. Cute shot. Your arm is a bit blown out and while the pose is unique, it apears your have a pretty face and I would prefer seeing that then a hand. If you were trying to show the ring thats cool but why hide a pretty face.
je.je it would be nice if you change your background with some wedding related.. like church, couple, etc.. and you need more detail in your face expression.. you should try this shot again.. its nice =)
