Black clothes, black backgound, two low level light sources in darkened garage (the studio!). Post processing included convert to greyscale, black clip, remove one reflection of one light, adjust contrast and brightness, NeatImage to sharpen.
The models are both professional actors - as seen on TV!

i feel like there has been a very slight motion blur applied to this image and it's kind of unsettling. pretty good lighting, though, especially in the highlights in the glasses and the texture and color the hair. 6.
The focus seems a bit off on the man. Not sure why. I like your idea but maybe put the lighting more towards the side to create more shadows. Good luck.
