Shot in basement of a house in Upper Canada Village, Ontario.
A levels, saturation/hue, color balance, and selective color adjustment was done to arrive at this particular interpretation of the scene. The original image was only much warmer with a yellow cast instead of a blue one.

This is my favorite image of the challenge. The selection of props and location is impeccable. Your command over the use of light makes this photograph outstanding. The shadows seem perfect and the highlights outstanding.Without proper placement and use of light the delicate detail within the shadows and highlights could easily be lost. You have managed to not only preserve this detail but to use it to your advantage through the placement of the props. The combinations of hues and objects fit like a hand in a glove. Not many photographers understand how to assemble proper props to create a still life with impact but you have displayed great command of that skill with this image. Congratulations on your submission - 10 - RLS
Beautiful. Love the colours in this. Only complaint would be that the main subject is too centered vertically! Moving it towards the bottom of the frame would improve it for me.
This is a really nice shot, the colours and lighting are great... but there it seems like there are 3 main subjects and I'm just not getting an off-centred feeling from this shot (sorry). Good luck with it all the same.
I love the muted tones here, and the lighting is terrific. Since the whole photo is the subject, it might be argued that it is impossible for you to have an off center subject! but I love it! 9
Definetley among the highest scoring, proffesional shot, i was scrolling down through the photos and this one stood out, its original, the light is magnificant. the pale bricks definetley enhance it, and the nails too. 10
