I wish I could have reduced the glare in my glass (which was the #1 seggestion from those who commented) but from what I understand it's against the rules to edit stuff like that.
I think the photo came out suprisingly well for the little effort I put into it. It was taken around 7 am on a Sunday, I had no make up on and didn't even really brush my hair. The lighting was all natural, just the sun coming through the bay window in my living room. I was sitting on the couch.
Thank you for all your comments!
Love the composition except for the distracting tree reflections in the glasses. They may have been part of the point but I guess I'd rather see your eyes. :)
Looking through the thumbnail gallery, this shot captured my attention. I like the lighting and the close-up and the thoughtful look of your expression. I wish you had been able to reduce a little more of the glare on your glasses so we could see your eyes better.
I think a portrait should reveal some character, or emotion of the model, by showing expression in eyes or other facial features. Did your picture accomplish that? Yes.
Great touch leaving the color in your glasses. My only complaint is the amount of relfection in your glasses... I wish I could see your eyes clearly. Good work.
