the trees demand my focus more than the reflections...it comes across as an okay landscape/scenery pic, imo.

Nice. There are just so many water shots that in order to "Creatively photograph a reflecting surface that is not a mirror" and stand above the rest there has to be some grabber. I will be back to re-evaluate after I look through the rest of the shots.

What a pretty setting. It is screaming for post editing though. You could get a great effect and still be allowed under basic editing, if you'd just adjust curves. The richness of the yellows and greens would really appear. You could also do a selective color adjustment on green, red , yellow and cyan, and that would boost the WOW factor as well. Hope this is helpful.

It looks to me like there was more color available than I see in this photo. Did you try to adjust your levels & contrast ? I like the composure & cropping.
