Whoops, forgot to put that in the photo notes; yup, it's the back of my leather chair, with afternnon light thru the levolor blinds falling across it obliquely. About a 1:2 or 1:3 near-macro shot.

I really like what is happening here. The texture, shadows and colors are superb. I just feel one definitive object (small - like a green marble or something, or a small tear in the fabric, etc.) on this field would finish the composition. Just something to break things up a little more. 7
