Challenge: Reflections Without Mirrors II (Basic Editing III)
Camera: Olympus E-300 EVOLT
Lens: Olympus 150mm f/2.0 Zuiko Digital
Location: mill pond in Hope Village
Date: Oct 17, 2005
Aperture: f8.0
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/50 sec
Date Uploaded: Oct 17, 2005

A pond with reflected autumn trees, the effect is rippled since the wind was blowing on the surface. Cropped, levels, shadow/highlight, unsharp mask. I liked the impressionist look and feel of this image.

every time I try impressionism it stinks! Look at all the 1-4 votes!...how the heck did Monet do it? not with a camera, that's for sure.

like the monet feel! would have been interested in a slightly different composition to play the brown section better.

Would have been nice to have the water clean and still to get the full mirror effect.
