This picture is amazing, ive never seen a better photo in my life, i really think you should have gotten first. As an expierenced photographer myself i see your point of view and iwouldnt worry about all the crap these nimwits and numskulls are giving you.

Wow. There are some REALLY stupid f*cking people on this site. Jesus christ it hurts to see the stupidity. I voted your picture a 10 because it was totally against what some of the goons on this site think. I feel sorry you had to sit an entire week listening to some of the most rediculous comments ever left for an image.
i'm not sure that this is entirely "creative", because a lot of people probably had the same idea, but i do admire the fact that you submitted it. now, if we could just get it to win, that would be a statement.
This is without question the most dramatic shadow of the challenge - However, If I were to offer a little criticism it would be to zoom out a little. You might adjust the shutter speed a little and I cant help but wonder what this would look like in color. E for effort :) Ooooo, did you here that? I think Ansel Adams just rolled over.

this is a shadow of what? I don't believe it is a shadow at all. is this even a photo? this is not even darkness. there is absolutely no substance to this. Is this what you saw? Where was your head? Was your camera there too? Well, put your head back up there and take deep breaths. I really like the simplicity of the tonal range in this photo. The complications caused by contrasts, sharpness, and focus issues are not present in this image. I also really like the way that the pixels are aligned in nice vertical and horizontal rows, creating a nice series of geometries that tease my eyes... I want a signed print of this one when the challenge is over...
I really dont know whether to give this a 1 or a 10. As a photo, it fails miserably. As a peice of conceptual art, its got a weak concept, nothing visually interesting, and no skill needed to make it. So thats a 10, then.
