Nice close-up of the heron! I also wonder how you got so close! ;-) I might consider cropping a bit more off the right to take him out of the center and still leave him somewhere to go on the left, but good shot.
Nice capture of the heron. I like the composition and the content. A little more sharpness on the bird might make it better, but all in all its a good shot.
