thanks for all the comments w/o my fans where would i be?ha!ha! but really thanks i will try to do better in the future-to me, good or bad comments help me want to do better.this was an accident picture-my puppy kept investigating my camera(probaly thinking it was food)so i snapped this photo. hey i came in next to last so i am proud.
the idea is interesting but the picture lacks focus, i would have tried to have the eyes in focus for example. the bacground looks too blown-out, as well.
Although a funny photo, I find the light too overpowering on either side of the dog's head. Had there been a bit more focus around the eyes and a bit better lighting behind, I would have scored this better. Cute idea though - does show fun creativity.
This animal (probably a dog) is much too close, so you don't get anything in focus. It's also overexposed and not well enough composed IMHO. I am sorry to be so negative but that is what I honestly think. Do it better next time!
Good idea if you could of pulled it off. Nothing appears to be in focus. The focal point must be behind the dog. This leads me to believe this was a chance encounter and the preset didn't allow for the sudden loss of light and overexposed the background. Perhaps a different title like "what can ruin a great photo". Even recreating the moment to try to get a better shot is difficult, especially with animals. They rarely cooperate.
