Sometimes DOF is hard to capture in a macro. I find it difficult to locate the exact focal point or pehaps it was washed away by the harsh lighting of the flash.

took me a minute to figure out what this was.....daym! thats close! whe white of its head looks a bit odd( did you use a flash that close?) good luck :o) ~~Cher~~
