I can't imagine what the voters were thinking here. This is absolutely one of the most startling and creative images in the challenge, as far as "meeting the challenge" goes. It deserved better.

People are way too anal sometimes. So what if it wasn't an "exact" reflection. I gave you a 9.

an exciting stunt! great moment to capture, and it looks like you were at just the right height, too.

Wow, that's some stunt! Took me a while to understand what was going on. Clever take on the challenge, and amazing photo!

Go Fortus, Fly Navy! Unusual, too, because #7 is flying (with a passenger) instead of #5. Practice show? Very good shot. Medal for you, I say!

This isn't reflected in a surface... but the picture is quite cool.

Wow, nice picture. It does look like a reflection. Great capture.

Great shot, but where's the reflection?

Never known that a mirrored 6 looks like a 7 upside down ;-)

You had to have this one timed just right. Many who have not been at an air show may not know how difficult this one is. You could be trying just to get this one and miss--great job

AMAZING -- I love airshows we go whenever we can and have seen the blue angles a few times. I never am able to capture the image that you have here...Well Done --9--

nice image but I don't see the reflection

Had to spend a minute looking at this one before I understood what was going on! :) Very nicely captured -- I really enjoy seeing these shows. I saw these guys a few years ago.

I've seen and taken this photo before, but for this contest I don't see it in the spirit of a reflective surface

Incredible! Not really a reflection but nice timing.

That is so damn cool !!! (excuse my language) How on earth did you get this perspective? Obviously you were not on Earth at the time :)

While not technically a reflection, still an interesting shot.

not really a reflection, but out-of-the box get ya a good score from me.

Where is the reflection? or are you reflecting on your time with the blue Angels?

I am soooo envious of people who get an opportunity like this during a challenge (ie. to get an interesting, action shot that is bang on the money). However, I take my hat off to those who manage to exploit it by taking a bloody good photo. Congrats.
