I think I agree about cloning out the string and above - it's a little distracting as is. The shot's very interesting and definitely a new take on an old classic. If you do clone out the top, you may need to crop off a bit more too, to get the right balance. Nice shot.

Very nice aproach to a flag shot. Maybe you could try clonning out from the string up. Then it would look like it's suspended in mid air. Nice job.
