Taken about 1/4 mile above Wood Camp in Logan Canyon, along US 89.

Pretty much straight from the camera. :-) I feel pretty good about the lighting... Cropped to proper aspect ratio, adjusted gamma very slightly (1.1) and that's it! Added the gold border for the finishing touch. Voila'!

Very good image with excellent composition, maybe lighten up the leaves at the base for balance, but really it is ready made for information. Graet image.
Is NG border orange, or yellow? I thought it was yellow, but I'm not really sure. anyway, beautiful shot. I love the focus and clarity. Very good detail even in the leaves of the trees. Not all blurry. I think it stands out very nicely on the sky. perfect angle for filling the frame.
I feel this photo is lacking a subject. You need to ask yourself why would a reader pick up a magazine with this on the cover? There's nothing drawing me to it.
The yellow looks very off on this, not at all the color NG uses, this looks more orange less yellow. The photo is nice, not overly fantastic though, I'm not sure it's NG quality. It leaves room for type though which is good.
