8 - Like this. Criticism; somehow, would like to have seen more depth and perhaps 'creative' lighting. Colors and texture are nice, just like to see both emphasized 'somehow'. Perhaps a slightly different crop too, not sure.
I'm going to give this one to you. At first I thought it was too much like all the other pics which are making or finding a face in an object, but this one does capture a feeling well. Those knots are too perfect for nipples too. How fortuitous. 8
Excellent. One of the few photos I've seen so far that actually got the concept, as I understood it. Not only have you captured the subject of the challenge, but you've done it quite well. Lighting is spot on. Sharpness is spot on. I would be interested in seeing your other shots of this one. Some with the branch slightly turned to the right, maybe a few at a tilt. You might have picked the best, but I see possibilities. Still earns a rare 10 from me though. This is 1 of 2 favorites in this challenge so far -- and after seeing all the other photos, the only 10. Good luck and I expect a ribbon.
