I took this picture in a rain forest in Costa Rica near Aguas Zarcas. At first, I thought it was a practical joke, but in reality this is an "untouched" root that sprouts from the tree and enters the ground.

This is the type of image I would expect from a 12 year old. Sorry but for me this shows very poor taste and almost no photographic skills. The added marijuana leaf confirms just how serious you take this site and the photographers who actually want to learn something about photography. jmho. "1"
Work on making your pictures bigger; as close to 640 pixels on one axis. Those tend to do better in challenges. That being said, it's an interesting subject, although I'm not fond of the purely "physical" personifications. I'd rather it have tried to capture an abstract or emotional concept. "The plant, well endowed as he was, strutted around the forest like a bull in heat..."
