This is a great bit of photography - movement, focus, lighting - all work pretty well for me. However, not being of U.S. the pride bit missed me in the traslation. I don't understand the historic/cultural significance. Interpretation is a big bit of some of these challenges. Thanks for the image though - it certainly held my eye.

I would like to have seen alittle more of the uniform to be more convincing. I love the b&w and the mist adds interest.

Overall I like the feel of this image. B/W was a good choice. It's a shame about the powerlines. ;^( Wonder how this might have looked in a full silhouette? The rider is already pretty dark. Just a thought. Good luck in the challenge.

Not sure, but it seems there are power lines in the shot, spoils a very good photograph. Would have voted a 10 if these were not there.
