I like this one alot. It was my favorite. Man that's some super macro action you going on there. Superb DOF. The B & W only adds to it. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that this was probably shot with a Canon EOS-10D. Close? I even think I might know who shot this. Great work.

More interesting in terms of topic than many office supplies, but I'm not sure about the tightness of focus; having so much blur foreground combined with the bright highlights detracts from the photo as a whole.
i love it. I think it will place high in this challenge for a few reasons. Primarily that it is just a very well composed shot. I like the focussing, and how the edges start to blur away, but some parts are still very sharp.
I also think it will place because it seems to be more creative and interesting in concept as well as in execution than many of the of shots in this challenge
