Critique Club

Definately fits the challenge. It is very nicely in focus and there isn't any a lot of clutter to the image but at the same time it doesn't hold the interest. It is a fountain pen and that's it.

This could have worked if you did it at some unusual angle, or not having the main point of focus in the center the quill of the fountain pen should have been off to one of the sides rather than in the middle. It just doesn't work as it is.

I immediately wanted to turn my head to see what I was looking at. Did you mean for it to be laid out horizontal? Your focus and lighting are great and you do meet challenge. It just doesn't appeal to me much. 5
