 I actually took this picture of a bamboo fence in the local Japanese Gardens on a whim, because they do look so exotic, and I liked the thought of filling the whole frame with the uneven structure. The sepia shot showed off the texture/feel a lot better than any of the color attempts, to my eyes.

Using true colours would be more usable as a 'cover'. I do like the 'feel' you have given the photo.

i love bamboo, i even collect it, but it doesn't appeal to me in this picture, sorry... i really don't see this photo as a magazine cover... 1

I don't think that this image is captivating enough for a magazine cover, irrespective of how well the shot is taken.
