I'm very pleased with how this shot turned out. 3 paperclips taped on a pole with castor oil on them forming the drips. 4 highlighters in the near background making the images in the drops. Took 120 or so of these. I like the ones where the clips are silhouetted. Also used one 120W halogen cliplight and a black cloth for background. I can't wait until this challenge starts. This is sure to be in the top 100!

Fun image, inspzil. Very creative. Like the silhouette of the paperclips and the colors are indeed scab-labby. Bet lots of us are running out now to buy Castor oil :) Congrats on ribbon.
congrats, sir you won!! i am very happy for you. i know how hard you work to get certain shots.you have raised the bar now. i will expect this all the time. enjoy this win you earned it.
Firstly, special thanks go out to my wife for giving me the castor oil tip for the drops. I really like this picture and I'm glad you guys liked it too. Thanks for all the nice comments!
Ok, I'm guessing another winner here! The idea has been done, but this does look sensational. Leaves you guessing for a while as to what it all is, but you get it in the end :)
Beautiful. The colors are very vivid and highlight the paperclips even more. The refraction in the four perfectly formed water drops is awesome. This is a top class photo which will surely earn you a ribbon - 10.
This is a REALLY cool abstract photo. Very unique idea and that scores points for me. The paperclips and drops are nice. I like the colors. They are brilliant Good job 8
Fabulous intensity of colour.....just one tiny thing....that little streak of pink in top right corner distracts the eye from the central image diluting the impact....cropping so that the image was dead center would sort it.....if I had voting rights it would be a 10.....it's 'art'
I love this photo. This photo makes me think of office in a colorful way, instead of a drab, dull way. This is one of my favorites this week. I also love the fuzziness of the highlighters in the background, but then in the water drops, you can see them clearer. And the dark outlines of the paper clips! Wonderful idea. Great job!
The concept of the glass and the backgroud have been applied alot here, but u did a great job, because i have never seen such a beautifull color combination. :)
Yeah, nice shot. This is a very cool alternate idea to the reflecting drops on glass pics we have seen. Excellent, and must have taken a while to get the drops right. 9.
