I went out to shoot some landscapes and maybe some wildlife with my new lens but the weather has been so dry that everything looks drab. The late evening sun helped to disguise how burned the grass looks in this image of a strikingly beautiful horse.

The cool gray of the mare makes wonderful contrast against the yellowed grass. Since it's fall, people are more accustomed to the warmer grass colors, so I think it looks awesome. Great DOF.
