The famous Paris monument, Arc de Triomphe, commissioned by Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, seen at dusk. Positioned in the center of the city's biggest round-about called Place de l'Etoile (literally translated: star plaza) for the 12 big avenues that branch out or lead in to it depending on one's perspective. One of them is the famous Champs-Elysees, known as the most beautiful (and some say the longest) avenue in the world. The Eiffel Tower can be spotted in the distance.
Wonderfully done image. I like the perspective you chose. I would clone out the remnants of some tree on the upper right hand corner since it's a bit distracting and give the upper left a bit more space so it's not as cramped.
this is a wonderful shot, i especially like the sky and the overall colour structure...the photo could have been taken 100 years ago, and cropping out the insanely busy Champs-Elysees was probably a good idea!
